Overview
Chile is a land of striking contrasts - where the world’s driest desert meets frozen Patagonian peaks, and lush vineyards stretch between the Andes and the Pacific. Our journey reveals the country’s extraordinary diversity, from its celebrated wines to its poetic soul. We’ll begin in vibrant Santiago, exploring its monuments, markets, and museums before heading to Valparaíso, the colorful coastal city that once inspired Pablo Neruda. In Chile’s famed wine country, we’ll stay in a boutique estate, tour a biodynamic vineyard, and meet one of the nation’s pioneering female winemakers while savoring meals rooted in tradition and terroir. Then, we’ll venture south to Patagonia, where untamed beauty takes center stage. Explore Torres del Paine National Park, a masterpiece of snowcapped peaks, turquoise lakes, and thundering waterfalls. Stand before immense glaciers and feel the wonder of this vast wilderness—an experience both humbling and exhilarating. Each evening, unwind in exceptional accommodations, enjoy cuisine crafted from local ingredients, and raise a glass to new friendships and unforgettable horizons. This is Chile at its most captivating—an adventure of nature, culture, and connection, where every moment feels both expansive and deeply personal.

What is the activity level of this trip?
We require that everyone traveling with Girls' Guide be able to comfortably walk 3–5 miles per day unassisted, and without difficulty, can navigate stairs, uneven streets or paths, and occasional steep terrain. Most of our trips require this level of physical mobility and fitness, especially when visiting historic towns and landmarks where vehicle access is limited and walking often offers the best experience.
Additionally, some of the 4 and 5-star boutique or historic hotels we stay in do not have elevators and may require climbing stairs to get to your room or access other facilities in the hotel.
