Overview
Le Priolet was originally an 18th century priory, now converted into a luxury, 4 bedroom villa set romantically on the banks of the Dordogne river. Just 15 minutes east of Saint-Émilion, it's in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region - a perfect home base for exploring this beautiful area.
Le Priolet sits at the end of long private driveway through neighboring vineyards. It's a tranquil oasis with a swimming pool, gardens and private access to the river for swimming and fishing from our own dock. The villa has been carefully renovated with modern amenities and one-of-a-kind antiques, preserving the authentic beauty of the original architecture without sacrificing comfort.

FAQs
How many guests can you accommodate?
The house has 4 generous bedrooms with king or queen sized beds. Only one of the bedrooms has beds that separate to accommodate 2 people not sharing a bed. There is also a pull-out sofa in the den for kids, or that can be used in a pinch.
What's the best way to get there?
If you're already in Paris, the easiest and most pleasant way to get to the Bordeaux area is by TGV train to either Bordeaux or Libourne. (Bordeaux will have more train and rental car options; Libourne is closer).
If you're flying, fly to Bordeaux or Bergerac. (Bordeaux will have more options).
If you're driving to Flaujagues, we can provide directions.
When can I arrive, and when do I need to check out?
Check-In is 4pm or later. Check-out is by 10:00am. This gives us time to thoroughly clean the house and change the linens before each guest's stay. Early check-in or late check-out can sometimes be accommodated based on the calendar. Please inquire.
Do we need a car?
Yes. We're in the countryside, so taxis and Ubers must be arranged well in advance if you need them. There are car rental agencies at the Bordeaux airport and train station, as well as at the Libourne train station and the Bergerac airport.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes, there's a one-time cleaning fee of $275 USD. If you're staying for more than a week, and would like to arrange for house cleaning and a change of linens during your stay, this can be arranged at your cost.
What's your cancellation policy?
All fees paid, including the rental Deposit and the balance of the rental fee are non-refundable unless we're unable to make the property available to you on the check-in date, or the French authorities forbid travel from your home country to France due to Covid or other restrictions.
