Overview
A sailing retreat through the crystal-clear waters of Sardinia, Italy and Corsica, France offers a rare opportunity to reset your mind, body, and soul in a deeply impactful way. The gentle sway of the sea naturally slows your thoughts, while daily yoga sessions help release physical tension and build mobility in an expansive and grounding way. Meditation, surrounded by open horizons and quiet coves, detaches you from everyday stress, giving you space to reconnect with inner clarity. As your mind quiets and syncs with the surrounding beauty, a spaciousness opens within. You become aware of free-spirited content bubbling up—through dreams, uncanny coincidences, and conversations with your fellow travelers. Throughout the week, we'll confront and nurture these connections, both subtle and direct, as they fuel creativity and intuition and deepen self-awareness and your sense of well-being. The fresh air, the sound of water, light, and relaxation, along with the negative ions from the sea, will help reset your body, mind, and spirit. The stunning coastal landscapes will inspire a sense of wonder and calm. Together, these elements create a holistic experience that restores balance, leaving you feeling lighter, more present, and intensely renewed.

FAQs
When should I arrive?
The trip officially starts on September 10, 2027. If you’re traveling across an ocean to reach Italy, consider arriving a day or two early to allow time to relax and adjust to the local time zone. If you would like to arrive early or stay an extra day at the end of the trip, you can purchase these options in the Add Ons section.
What airport should I fly into?
Fly into Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB). If you're coming straight from the United States, we highly recommend the direct Delta flight from JFK for an easy travel experience.
Otherwise, many major European hubs also fly here, so you should have plenty of options when planning your travel. If you need assistance, let us know what we can do to help.
What should I pack?
We'll have a Zoom call about 8 weeks before the trip starts to discuss important logistics and give you packing guidance. In the meantime, here is a great website that we love that will help you with packing and travel trips.
What will the weather be like in September?
September is one of the most beautiful times to sail through Sardinia and Corsica, with warm sunny days and fewer crowds along the coast. Daytime temperatures typically range from 75–84°F (24–29°C), while evenings are comfortably mild. The Mediterranean Sea remains wonderfully warm after the summer months, with water temperatures around 75–79°F (24–26°C), making it ideal for daily swims and long afternoons spent anchored in quiet turquoise coves.
What are the new travel requirements for Europe?
Beginning in late 2026, travelers from visa-exempt countries—including the U.S., Canada, and Australia—will need an ETIAS permit to visit most of Europe.
As we get closer to the launch date, likely several months in advance, we’ll share all the details on how to apply. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
What is the activity level of this trip?
We require that everyone traveling with Girls' Guide be able to walk 3–5 miles per day unassisted comfortably, and without difficulty, can navigate stairs, uneven streets or paths, and occasional steep terrain. Most of our trips require this level of physical mobility and fitness, especially when visiting historic towns and landmarks where vehicle access is limited and walking often offers the best experience.
Although we are on a smooth-sailing catamaran in calm waters, the ability to walk around a gently rocking boat is a must. You also need to be comfortable getting in and out of a tender for transfers to land from the boat.
