Nüba – Rooftop dancing

Even though it’s getting cold out, we do want to mention Nüba. It’s a rooftop venue with an indoor restaurant and club. Outside you find a bar and the terrace with a fabulous view over the river Seine. Parisians tend to go here on Fridays to kick-off the weekends by having drinks and grabbing a bite. And of course, to take a spin around the dance floor. Le Nüba loves to invite small agencies, representing upcoming artists in the electronic dance music realm. On Friday October 3rd, (TONIGHT!) enjoy l’Envolée invites Mimesis Agency, bringing you melodic and uplifting Deep House.

79 Club

79 Club – Dress up and dance
‘See and to be seen’ is what the 79 Club is all about. 79 Club is all about urban and hip hop vibe, resulting in performances of ‘heavy weights’ such as Busta Rhymes, Tinie Tempah, Kid Ink and Nicky Minaj. But also on the electronic music front, 79 Club will not be disappointing if you love the EDM sound. On Saturday October 4th, French EDM duo Jidax will shake up the audience. Want to go all out? Make table reservations at 79 Club prior to the event and get spoiled!

Showcase

Showcase – Outrageous October calendar

Although we’ve mentioned Showcase in the Paris Nightlife blog previously, its worth focusing on again for their line-up in October is stellar. The calendar at this venue, built in a former boating club, is outrageous. EDM, Dubstep, Electro or Techno; Showcase showcases it all! Electro lovers, try to catch German DJ duo Digitalism on Friday October 10th. For more popular House sounds, the performance of Klingande on Saturday the 4th is a great pick. When you’re into mosh pits and tough beats, British Electronica/Dubstep magician Hudson Mohawke should be your date on Friday the 27th.

Zig Zag Club – Gui Boratto’s album release

Another dazzling line up is offered at the Zig Zag Club; one of Paris’ trendy and true electronic dance music temples. Tech House maestro Gui Boratto releases his new album ‘Abaporu’ and wants to celebrate with Parisian clubbers on Friday October 17th. ClubJudge has guest list spots for this one, so check it out!

Djoon

Djoon – (Un)Known talents

Next stop is Paris nightlife in the eastern part of the city. Nearly hidden Djoon, gives stage to known and unknown talents from the local and international scene. Djoon can easily surprise you, as it programs a broad range of (electronic) music. DJs Antal & Hunee have really made a name for themselves this year, with their original Nu Disco Deep House signature. They will perform at Djoon on Friday October 17th. Care for a trip down Soul Music memory lane? On Saturday the 4th, there’s a Motown Stevie Wonder tribute at Djoon.
