Ever wonder how couples dress in the City of Love? Take a look at my stylish Paris fashion finds on the city’s streets.
Paris is regarded as one of the most romantic cities in the world, and there are definitely many a pair walking hand in hand, gazing misty-eyed at each other. But I remember coming to Paris for the first time, in love, and I can’t say that matching my wardrobe to his was my biggest priority.
It’s easy to see a lot of romantic dressing: lace, Breton stripes and full skirts, everyone trying to dress how she imagines a Parisian to dress. But it’s harder to find a lot of couples who match. Nowadays when I think of fashionable couples, I think of Une Armoire Pour Deux, or I think of famous couples, like Birkin and Gainsbourg, who dress well individually but don’t necessarily match. This is what I found on a quick scout of Paris: individuals with great taste who happen to be together.
Hope you enjoy these photos—and this isn’t the last you’ll be seeing of couples, as I’m determined to find a pair who coordinate their clothing perfectly every day.
