Paris Fashion: Seen on the Streets of Paris

Bows in hair—something that I always thought would be reserved for Disney princesses and small children has become notable on the streets of Paris. And, to my surprise, I quite like this Paris fashion trend.

I first spotted it on a girl in the Marais. Her black matte ribbon tied part of her hair up and was paired with leopard print and black attire.

I then spotted it again around Paris, including near the Tuileries, as a woman in a parka and skinny jeans disappeared down the street.
As we enter the long dark winter, it seems that clothing becomes tougher and more bulky, colors are muted and layers pile up, so adding a bit of sweetness is certainly not a bad thing. The combination prevents the bow from looking Disney-like and the winter clothing from looking drab.
So experimenting with Alice in Wonderland bows could be a new trend.
