French Fashion: Follow the French Rock Attitude with April, May
Fri 21 Jun 2013
June has arrived, but April, May will never leave us. Always fresh and luminous, this collection evokes the rock attitude of Parisian women and French fashion, casual with a twist of assertiveness and a touch of rock and roll. This season our heroine, designer Diane Goldstein, travels along the coasts, from California to the Atlantic coast of southern France. She plays with the mix and match of colors and textures, creating a collection full of contradictions and oppositions driven by the desire to travel.
We especially love the bright and explosive orange leather bomber, which can easily go with everything: dark denim jeans, print tops, stripes or pastels. Play with this sporty, chic trend!
About the Designer
Sensitized to art, beauty and travel by her parents, Diane Goldstein has lived and breathed fashion since childhood. She inherited an awareness of fine things from her parents, who were a sculptor and an architect. A graduate of Esmod in Paris and Saint Martins in London, she created her first accessories brand in 2002. In 2005 she decided to take another step and create, with her husband, the brand April, May, which reflects rock inspirations, sometimes classic but always feminine.
