Overview

You travel to Bali to slow down, to re-learn the simple principles of happiness, and to connect with nature, with yourself, and with other people. We’ll immersively experience Bali - highlighting the best of the Balinese culture, spirituality, cuisine, heritage, and arts while connecting with the local people and communities. The Balinese culture is infused with spirituality. Like India, Bali is primarily Hindu, but they have their own brand of Hinduism with their own customs and personality. The Balinese are kind down to their core. It’s never put on. Once you experience it, you’ll realize how many layers we, Westerners, put on to hide our true selves. The rich Balinese culture and engaging people have much to teach us. If you let it, this small island will dive deep into your soul. This experience in Bali may make you rethink your priorities and the way you live your life. Regardless, we know this. You’ll walk away from this treasure of a place refreshed, renewed, and with a full heart.

Cathy Gotfried

Cathy Gotfried from Canada can't wait to host our Bali tour. She’s been in the travel and tourism industry since 1986 and considers the magical island of Bali her second home, having traveled there 35 times since 1983. “For me, Bali is paradise. It is a place to take a deep breath, embrace simplicity, connect with local people and the community, surround myself with nature, and reflect upon life's blessings. Nothing is more rewarding than escorting a group of women and experiencing their joy and fullness as they become awestruck with Bali's beauty, culture, and spirituality.”

Reviews

Cathy made sure each of us had a wonderful experience. She has an excellent knowledge of Bali, the island, the people, and the cultural traditions. She knows the best restaurants, taught us how to negotiate with market vendors, and took the time to get to know everyone on the tour. Great choice! - Jacqueline L., Oakland CA

Just go and do it now. There will not be another "now". It gives you a new perspective on living. The tour leader and the local guide are the very best. Very knowledgeable and seemed right at home in Bali. Also, very human, kind and exceedingly helpful in difficult situations. I lost my phone in the airport on the way to Bali and everyone turned themselves inside out to help me. Beautiful people. - Karen M., Glendale AZ

FAQs

You should fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport.

If you are traveling across an ocean to get to Bali, consider arriving a day early so you have time to relax and adjust to the local time zone. If you do decide to arrive early, let us know and we will book your room and make sure that you are kept in the same room until the trip starts.

We will have a zoom call about 6 weeks before the trip starts to discuss all that information and give you a packing list. Here is a great website that we love that will help you with packing and travel trips.

The sunny days have arrived. Expect highs in the mid 80's and lows in the mid 80's. Maybe bring a light rain jacket just in case.
