As the name suggests, Modern Toilet is dominated by everything pertaining to that specific room. Do not expect anything ordinary. Do not expect to not be surprised, amused, and confused. You sit on a toilet to eat. Your food is served in miniature toilets. You even wipe your mouth with toilet paper! Their slogan is quite amusing too, "In an age where creative marketing is king, even faeces can be turned into gold!" And, they are right. This restaurant is definitely not for everyone. But, it does appeal to those who are seeking something different, interesting, and who have a sense of humor. In fact, it does appeal to so many looking for a unique experience, I highly recommend you book a table.

I agree with Lavender Chic entirely ! Aqua for dinner is a special night out, make sure you go with someone special. (You'll need to pre book and request a window table though).

As you step out of the lift, there is an instant feeling of luxurious celebrity. As the staff meet you and open the curtains from the lobby to the restaurant, you are hit by the overwhelming and stunning view of the Honk Kong skyline through double-height floor to ceiling windows. Laid-back, chill out vibes drift from the speakers and the atmosphere and awe-inspiring views make it difficult to pay the appropriate amount of attention to your dining partner! The staff are polite and helpful and the menu is very interesting, with a choice of italian or japanese food. Both are exquisitely prepared and presented and very tasty. It's not cheap, but then again, with a location like this and such high quality food, you wouldn't expect it to be. Worth every single cent though!

For a great Italian meal try, VA BENE in Lan Kwai Fung. Exceptional food and not ridiculous prices. I've eaten there many a time and would highly recommend it for a romantic meal.
