Weird but wonderful and a gastronomical adventure! Just visiting the Faena Hotel + Universe is a cool experience, but dining in El Bistro is a note-worthy side trip when in Buenos Aires. Hang out in the Library Lounge if you arrive too early to be seated. While venturing down the long corridor to El Bistro, be on the lookout for the camouflaged ladies room opposite the restaurant entrance...super cool. Once inside El Bistro, you'll be greeted by double rows of white UNICORN HEADS lining the walls!! The majority of the small restaurant is white, with only tiny accents of red and gold. Somewhat blinding, but a cool effect. The cuisine is creative and delicious, and the waitstaff are extremely helpful and attentive. Dress to impress and plan to spend a couple hours there. Open Wed-Sat.
