We were only in london for a 5 days so we almost didnt go to the london eye but I am so glad we went! The views are amazing and you can get some really great photos from the top. Also the area has a lot of people entertaining in the streets and people just hanging out in the park on day with decent weather. Buy your tickets ahead of time thru your hotel or online to avoid the lines at the ticket counter. They say thousands of people visit the london eye everyday!

One of the tallest ferris wheels in the world and a true London icon, the London Eye is made up of 32 glazed capsules that can accommodate 25 people (standing). Allow a half hour for the complete rotation that gives you the most amazing views of London. From the highest point, you can even see Windsor Castle! If you have the time, the London Eye is definitely a memory you will always treasure.
