About a year ago, I started looking for adult dance classes in the city to learn basic Hip Hop movements. I tried few studious but without much success to learn how to dance. I was losing my hopes, and then I came across Amina Vohra’s studio and she turned out to be an amazing instructor. I love music, but would never dance because I was never at ease with my movements. With Amina’s support and great teaching approach, I learned step by step how to create combinations, and put them together into dance. I really started to dance! Amina is an amazing instructor; she cares about each student’s progress and always would offer extra help after class. The environment is always very supportive and encouraging. Amina has a great ability to bring people together and after only one lesson you feel like you know everyone so well and become very comfortable with each other. Amina is always full of energy and life, and her energy is contagious. Each week, I look forward to her class! I encourage anyone who is interested in learning how to dance to give this place a try. Either as a beginner or more experience dancer, you can’t ask for a better environment or better teacher to explore a wonderful world of dancing. I can almost guarantee you that by the end of the course you will be more confident dancer than ever!

Amina's Level 1 hip hop dance class is a good start for all types of beginners. She is able to break down the moves and thru repetition makes sure the entire class is up to speed before moving on to the next move. I highly recommend the class. Don't forget the part about practicing on Thu. night out with the class and instructors! I'm now taking Level 2.

Amina's class is great fun! I used to not be able to dance at all, so I took her beginner class, and now I feel very comfortable dancing at clubs. I've signed up for her intermediate class also. If you're looking to learn dance moves you can use in the club definitely sign up. There's also a club night out with all the students where we went to a restaurant/club and ate dinner and danced afterwards. It was fun; at the end of the night you'll find you've made new friends and danced to the latest tunes.

Before I started Amina's class, I was a clumsy mess! I'm not as good as Amina yet, but there's definitely been a major improvement! The class is fun and good exercise too! I'm taking level two now and I may take it again when it's over. Thanks Amina!

I loved the first class so much I'm now taking the second. The instructors are so professional yet fun and make you feel like a dance star no matter what level you're at. I love how there's club night's out where we get to show off our moves amongst people we know. And even better is the practice videos online that I used at home to practice with. You can't beat it for the price!

I've been taking Amina's classes for a couple of years now and love it! At first i was vy hesitant - a guy trying to dance like that just didn't seem to fit me, but once i got involved and started having fun with it, it was a blast. It's now the highlight of my week. And, it's so much fun leaning these moves w/ people of similar interests; you end up learning stuff from others.

I have taken level I and am now taking level II. The classes are fun and easy to learn for novice dancers or just anyone looking to define their dancing techniques. Also it doesn't hurt that you're getting a real workout! The instructor to student ratio and small class sizes make for lots of individualized attention. I can't say enough about this class or great instructors and would recommend it to anyone.

I did learn a lot, and I got exactly what I wanted out of the courses. I liked the constant review of basic techniques, the freestlying section, and the partner dancing. I would suggest that these be continued. I also enjoyed the gradual build-up of basic skills.
